I trust Hansen more than climate models which might be complex on the one hand but underestimate or completely neglect certain things on the other.

Yes. The moral integrity of the messenger is important when judging the truth of a message. It's not all, but it is important! Climate models are similar to current AI models - both highly sophisticated and highly simplistic. Not bad, but over-hyped.

Thank you. Very interesting that your are - I mean the fallacies of complex models are probably somewhat self-evident, but: I remember a conversation with David Warrilow, the then Chief Scientific Advisor to the Labour government about just that topic. He was firmly of the opinion that models that have more components (things accounted for) were by definition superior. He is now the President of the Royal Meteorological Society.
